We are recruiting an experienced Transport planner for a Global Logistics company based in Purfleet on a Permanent basis.
This is a fantasic opportunity to join a Global organisation that is going from strength to strength.
The ideal candidate will have experience Planning Multidrop operations within Logistics, Freight Forwarding, General haluage or Distribution.
The hours are Monday to Friday 1pm-10pm
Job role will include:
- Allocate and plan routes for up to 50 vehicles per day
- Schedule and co-ordinate various types of freight onto correct classifcations of vehicles
- Adhere to strict deadlines andschedules.
- Communicating efficiently and effectively with internal and external Customers, Drivers, Suppliers, and other depots
- Any reports/KPI’s required.
- Preparing correct documentation to the Warehouse department for loading/offloading cargo to vehicles.
- Perform and correctly implement any General Administration required.
